Should i learn Spanish?

Hey, so i got money for an early Christmas present and i was wondering if I should buy a Spanish learning CD. It’s 40 dollars but according to my mom it’s a pretty good company. it’s something like Belkin, idk but it’s something like that.
I don’t have a lot of Spanish speaking friends but hey it wouldn’t hurt to learn. I’m 16yo and I think it would be great to know a 2nd language. And i’m also home schooled so I have all the time in the world to learn.I only have 60 dollors so i would be left with 20.
Do you think this would be a smart investment or not?

It’s great that you want to learn a second language. I think it would be a great investment, but before doing that I would recommend using some free resources first. There’s a lot of websites that teaches Spanish for free or you could go to the public library. That’s what I did with learning Italian. It didn’t cost me a single penny. Allora buona fortuna!!!

I just spent the last 5 weeks in Mexico studying Spanish. I am able to understand the language fairly well through listening, and one of the main things that I need is oral speaking practice.
